अब हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य में वाहन मालिकों को प्रदुषण प्रमाण पत्र बनाना महंगा पड़ेगा क्यूंकि सरकार ने मोटर वाहन अधिनियम 1999 में संशोधन का न्य ड्राफ्ट तैयार किया है. जिसमे HP Polluation Control Certificate Price को बढ़ा दिया है.
जहाँ प्राधिकृत एजेंसीयां ६ महीने के लिए प्रदुषण प्रमाण पत्र 60 रुपये में बनती थी अब पेट्रोल, सीएनजी, एलपीजी वाहनों (2, 3 पहिया) के प्रमाण पत्र 80 रुपये में बनाये जायेंगे और 20 रुपये ग्रीन टैक्स के रूप में लिया जायेगा. यानि कुल 100 रूपए में वाहनों का प्रदुषण प्रमाण पत्र बनेगा. वहीँ पेट्रोल, सीएनजी, एलपीजी वाहनों (4 पहिया) का प्रदुषण प्रमाण पत्र 130 रुपये में बनेगा जिसमे 30 रुपये ग्रीन टैक्स के रूप में शामिल हैं.

Documents Required to Obtain HP Green Tax certificate –
- RC (Vehicle Registration Certificate) original and photocopy.
- Insurance Certificate
- Valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUC Certificate) from an authorized center.
- Driving Licence and photocopy.
Now visit the designated green tax counter in HP state. Submit documents to the counter. After that attendant verifies all documents and calculates applicable green tax based on various factors like type of vehicle, duration of stay, and others.
After that, you will be asked to pay the applicable amount of the tax and make payment at the counter, and get Himachal Green Tax Receipt as proof of payment.
