This year the Reserve Bank of India released recruitment notifications for 94 posts, very low as compared to previous recruitment. Last year it was 291. Officers in Grade B (DR-General) 66 posts, DR-DPER 21 posts, and DR DSIM 7 posts.

RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria
Education qualification for Grade B DR General – Candidate must complete their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for the General category, 50% for SC/ST/PwD. Or candidates must pass postgraduation with 55% marks in aggregate all seems.
For Officer Grade B DR-DSIM – Must completed their Master’s Degree in Statistics, or Mathematical Statistics, or Mathematical Economics, or Econometrics, or or applied statistics from IIT Bombay, or Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur.
For Officers in Grade B DR-DPER – Must complete a Master’s Degree in Economics, or Mathematical Economics, or Quantitative Economics, Integrated Economics Course, or Finance with min 55% percentage.
