These schemes have been brought into action by the state government of Telangana for the benefit of the students belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Minority, and Backward Class. The main objective of the government by initiating the Ts epass Scholarship portal schemes is to provide financial aid to the students to promote them to study and complete their education.
The eligibility criteria for the Ts epass Scholarship is stated as follows:
- Applicant must hold a domicile certificate that is the applicant should be a permanent resident of Telangana state
- Applicants should belong to the SC/ ST/ BC/ EBC/ Minority category
- Annual family income should not be more than Rs.2 Lakh for SC/ ST Category and Rs.1.50 Lakh in rural area and Rs.2 Lakh in urban area for BC/ EBC category.
- Applications of Physically challenged students will also be considered whose family income is below or equal to Rs.1 lakh.
- 75% attendance of the interested applicant in each quarter is must to apply for the scholarship.
