The Osmania University announces the holding of the Telangana State Eligibility Test on behalf of the State Government of Telangana. Previously SET Telangana exam was scheduled for 28, 29, 30, and 31 August 2024 but now the exam postponed due to UGC NET exam. The aim of SET Telangana for determining the eligibility of candidates for the eligibility for Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Telangana Universities and Colleges. The state eligibility test will be organized into General Studies and 29 subjects.

The Telangana State Eligibility Test will consist of two papers. TGSET both papers will consist of only objective type of questions. Paper 1 shall consist of 50 objective-type questions each carrying 2 marks. The exam paper will consist of questions of a general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the aspirants.
